Conference venue

Erfurt is centrally located in Germany and easy to reach by train, car and public transport. From Erfurt Central Station, the University of Erfurt campus can be reached within just a few minutes.

• By public transport (recommended):
  From Erfurt Central Station, take tram line 3 (towards Europaplatz) or line 6 (towards Rieth). Get off at the "Universität" stop. The journey takes approximately 10 minutes.
• By car:
  Erfurt is well connected via the A4 and A71 motorways. Use the "Erfurt-Bindersleben" or "Erfurt-Zentrum" exit. Behind the university grounds there is a visitor car park with plenty of free parking spaces. Please enter "An der Parkharfe" into your navigation system for this purpose: "An der Parkharfe".
• By bicycle:
  The campus is very bike-friendly and has numerous parking spaces right in front of the KIZ.

Many hotels are located in or near Erfurt's historic city centre. This makes it easy to combine the conference, the evening event and a stay in one of Germany's most beautiful historic cities. The evening event will also take place in Erfurt's city centre.

For your stay during the T3UD, we have compiled a selection of hotels in different categories. Most accommodations offer good transport links to the conference venue, the evening event and Erfurt's old town. Booking is done independently.

Please note: Other events will take place in Erfurt during the event period. Some hotels are therefore already fully booked or only have limited availability. We recommend booking early.
